TEACHER TRAINING
Imbali offers creative art workshops for teachers, ranging from short, intensive offerings to longer, more in-depth courses. The training is tailored to the specific needs of a group of teachers.
CRAFTS TRAINING
The Imbali crafts training programme is a two-year, full-time subsidised course run from our training studios in Newtown. Focusing on a range of textiles and ceramics skills, the course takes crafters from a basic level where they are highly supported to the point where they can develop their own products and designs, and start their own craft enterprises.
PRODUCTION UNIT
The production unit also provides valuable experience and income for Imbali’s 2nd year students and graduates, helping them to move from being full-time students to running their own businesses. The unit also contributes to our ongoing sustainability by bringing in much-needed income to support our crafts training and other activities.
