Imbali Visual Literacy offers a subsidised two-year full-time Craft Training Programme,which includes both the Craft Production and Craft Enterprise Skills Programmes, along with several additional CATHS SETA-accredited unit standards.
    Participants attend classes daily (Monday to Thursday) at the Imbali Studio in Newtown, where they learn a wide range of craft and design skills, techniques, and theory, as well as business and entrepreneurial skills.
    The final four months of the two-year programme serve as an incubator phase, during which participants are supported in developing their own craft product designs and in producing and marketing these products with the goal of starting their own creative enterprises.
    Once you have completed and submitted this application form, Imbali will contact you to schedule an interview, during which you will be asked to present your portfolio.

    Educational Background



    TUITION FEES

    Upon acceptance into the programme, students are required to pay a registration fee of R350. The full tuition fee is R25,000 per annum, but this amount is subsidised by Imbali (subject to available funding), with students contributing R2,200 by the end of the first term. Please note that both the registration fee and the course fee are non-refundable.
